Cork Gaelic Football Club hit their goal
St Michael’s GAA Club net €500,000

St Michael’s Gaelic Football Club in Blackrock, Co Cork, went on a blistering solo run and scored a memorable winner when they built their new dressing rooms. The club has been a landmark in Cork’s south city since 1951, and they’ve netted more than their share of honours.
The National Lottery’s Sports Capital Programme made €500,000 available to the club. Now that the brand spanking new facilities have joined the roll of honours at the club, they’re on a mission to net more young members too. We wish them many more successes, and at least as many hot showers.
